And suddenly you know…
It’s time to start something new and trust in the magic of new beginnings.”

      Some exciting changes are in store for Connecticut Family Theatre as we approach our 10th Anniversary.

      After eight years at our studio location on Jefferson Ave. in West Hartford, we have made the decision to relocate to a space better suited to our growing needs.

      While our studio has served us well and provided a home away from home for so many, it has also limited our ability to grow. We have been unable to run as many programs as we would like in our single
room and the costs associated with maintaining the space have prevented us from expanding. We are currently exploring other properties in the area for something more suitable to our specific needs.

      Our lease will come to an end on August 31, 2016 and we have made the decision not to renew.  We will be spending the next couple of months re-organizing and getting ready to start our fall session in a new
home.  We will be releasing our fall schedule with specific details in the near future.

      We have tremendous support from individuals who are invested in our future and are helping us find a new location.  As we want to take our time to find the perfect home for our wonderful organization, this may
mean utilizing storage space for all of our costumes, props and scene shop contents temporarily.

      August 31 will come quickly and there are volunteer opportunities aplenty!
 We welcome your involvement in our transition: helping us find storage solutions (fairly quickly);
packing and trucking; collecting and donating boxes and storage bins; cleaning and helping us leave the studio and shop the way we found it so many years ago.
Contributions on any size towards our moving costs are also very welcome, greatly appreciated and will be wisely used.

      In the midst of relocating we will also be planning our 10th Anniversary celebration!  We will be sending a “save the date” in the near future.

      Our deepest gratitude towards our sponsors, donors, volunteers, patrons, students and parents for all of your support these past 10 years and for your continued support in the many, many years to come!

Here’s to new beginnings and to the magic that lives in CFT!
